My Project

We have about 2800 students in our high school, and many love visiting the library. We want to encourage them to read for pleasure, and one of their favorite genres is manga (the book version of anime). In our library, students may check out three books at a time, and some of these students will come in several times a day to return their books and check out three more. These quick reads help students feel engaged and successful!

Please help us add more manga volumes to series that students can't get enough of!

Our budget must be encumbered by Spring Break, so we are unable to purchase more books for the final quarter of the year. We would love to have support from DonorsChoose to add these books to our library so we may continue to encourage our students' love of reading as the year winds down.

Ms. Wansick will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 21.
