Help me give my students graphic novels that will encourage reading! graphic novels and manga are so beneficial to leading kids and teens into the wonderful world of books.
Our students are excellent examples of their school's mission to think critically, communicate effectively and act responsibly in an ever-changing, global community. They plan to go far in their studies and are preparing themselves for college. These students have high expectations for themselves to succeed in school and beyond. Many students make productive use of their free time by studying in the library and getting ahead in their classes. They are great examples of hard work, dedication and a strong drive to succeed.
My Project
Teenage literacy is occasionally on the decline. Teens often claim not enjoying reading because they have no yet found that book series that appeals to them.
graphic novels and manga can be an excellent gateway to the world of books and imagination.
Help me provide a set of classic manga to entice reluctant readers into the world of books. Many of our students love the opportunity to get lost in a great story, and they will share this with their peers and friends as well.
Books are still a necessary tool for learning, cultivating empathy, and discovering the world, whether fictional or reality.
