My Project

Our library serves students in grades K-12. It is important to meet the needs of all our students. While having a diverse collection is important it is also important to have books kids want to read.

Manga books are very popular with all ages and students are waiting to check them out daily.

Many of the younger students gravitate toward the ones that are out of their age range. I am working on building a good selection of manga books for elementary readers too.

This project will help to build on these age appropriate manga books. Chi's Sweet Adventures are cute books about the adventures of a cat while Zelda is more of a thrilling adventure based on the video game. If we have the books...they will read. Thank you for helping us to bring more books that students love to our library.

Mrs. Paola will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 5.
