Help me give my students a sensory corner at home where parents can help manage a student's sensory needs and help them effectively engage in virtual meetings during distance learning.

My Students
My class is an Extensive Support Needs Self Contained Class. My students have been identified as having Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, Speech and Language delay, and some are considered medically fragile.
Distance learning created a huge challenge to my students as they are faced with abrupt changes in their routines.
These students rely greatly on routines, prompts, and sometimes, physical assistance. They are dependent on instructions and would need guidance in daily living.
With the coronavirus pandemic, their routines were disrupted and they are challenged to continue learning at home, through their computers and without their teacher whom they got used to working with. This in turn, created a huge challenge to students, parents, and even teachers.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to effectively engage and become productive. In the classroom they use sensory materials/equipment to help them focus better and engage in their tasks. In this time of pandemic, students are faced with challenges and limitations at home that makes it difficult for them tho process learning and accept changes at the same time. They could not find a place for them to work effectively as they are not used to doing work at home. In turn, they would throw tantrums, making it more difficult for parents and teachers to manage the student.
A sensory corner at home can help the parents manage the student's sensory needs and enable them to engage better in online learning.
The products I have selected are effective tools in managing sensory needs to help students make more effective learning choices during the distance learning. The wiggle seats, yoga mat, and bean bags are movable and will allow students to find a place at home where they can better participate in virtual meetings. These will be beneficial for most students who needs sensory stimulation. They can also be used for exercises during motor activities.
These materials will surely help my students become familiar with things that they used to do in the classroom that they cannot do during distance learning because of the pandemic situation we are all faced with.
