My Project

Mallet instruments are vital to a quality music program. Last year I started at a new school with only 5 mallet instruments. Even if they share, I would need at least 15. These instruments are used for composition, improvisation, sight-reading on the staff, understanding melodic contour and more.

My meager budget for the entire school year is less than the cost of one small mallet instrument.

It will take me the better part of 20 years to build the set of my dreams and the set that my students deserve.
