Mallet Madness Part Two

My Students

I am the music teacher at a 3-5 elementary school in a Title 1 school in Berkeley County School District in Summerville, South Carolina. The hardworking, compassionate, creative students at my school deserve to have all of the opportunities to learn a variety of music. They could not play any instruments last year due to Covid-19 restrictions.

My Project

These bass xylophones will be used in the classroom every day to prepare our concert music. We are going to begin using these very soon to practice for our Winter Concert. The student have been hard at work learning their singing parts and now we just need to add the instruments to complete the work.

If you help support our school our students would be able to use what they learned about pitch, rhythm, meter, harmony, melody, and show their parents all that they have achieved.

They would be forever grateful for your support.
