Making Writing Fun in Kindergarten!

My students need a place to be creative, explore, and write! WE need a writing center.

My Students

My students are amazing! We currently have 10 boys and 9 girls in our class. Over half of my students' homes flooded in recent Hurricane Harvey. However, they come to school to have fun and that is just what we do.

My students love to create projects and work together.

We love to create new things and especially be on the floor during work and play time. Plus, we are in kindergarten and we do not like to sit, we like to be up and moving.

My Project

My students love to be creative and write about real and imaginary experiences. With new writing tables my students will be able to have their writing centers back they lost due to flood waters. They can explore writing at a whole new level. Due to mean old Hurricane Harvey our writing tables were destroyed and we want to write about our experiences!

My kindergarten friends love to explore with their writing and create stories!

The tables would be a huge help to not only my students but me. I will be able to be more creative with teaching writing. It will make writing more interesting and fun to my students.
