My Project

The Dual Immersion student at our Title I school have been working extremely hard to succeed in mathematics. As teachers of our 2nd grade students we have noticed that the children are able to learn the more difficult math concepts as we provide specific math practices.

We are searching for math manipulatives that will provide a better understanding of difficult math concepts for the students.

Our students have demonstrated great progress on the quiz and test scores when they have been provided math activities, blocks, timers, clocks or other such devices. The students have been able to practice with each other and at times individually. We know these items will allow the students to be successful in math.
