it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, my class has embarked on the journey of a sound wall. For all of my students reading is challenging. They are all at least a grade level behind if not more. Studying the Science of Reading has become my new passion. We have been teaching reading all wrong. For my students with special needs, it is important to make reading fun and hands-on. Why not make words using Magna tiles?
Give us a fun, hands-on, and innovative way to play around with making words and hearing sounds in the words we want to read and write!
We will use the Magna tiles to practice applying what we have learned from our sound wall lesson to make words. We must bring new ways to help students learn the science of reading!
