My Students
My class is made up of bright and eager learners who strive to excel in their learning every day. Each one of them demonstrates a caring attitude and they all work collaboratively to reach their learning goals. We have worked very hard to develop a classroom community built on trust. If it is one thing they continue to surprise me in, it's team collaboration.
They do not work alone on their own understanding, but always lean and trust one another to work together.
That is what makes them unique in their own way!
My Project
Majority of my students consistently express how much they love to create with their hands. They love the projects, solve problems, and time to express themselves. During our learning day, we do not have a creative space for STEAM. I want to change that. Every morning during arrival my students come and sit waiting for the bell to ring to come in. However, I would like to change their normal routine to where students may come in Early and explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) time. During this time students get to build things, code robots, etc. They collaborate with their classmates to create phenomenal things. It is amazing to see what they can create in just a short period of time!
