Making Their Way in the World

My students need an organized space to store their makerspace materials. We also need a drill, hammer, and screwdriver set.

My Students

My class is filled with excited, gifted learners who crave new learning experiences. We research, build, debate, and learn about the remarkable world in which we live.

My students love to create, and build their solutions to problems.

Each student has a different style of learning with strengths and weaknesses. Often, through meaningful building, their strengths shine and give them encouragement and a better sense of who they are as learners. My job is to facilitate that experience for them and make sure they have plenty of opportunities to show their interests and learning.

My Project

Children learn best when they can be physically involved in the learning process. My students need tools like screwdrivers and drills to build their solutions to project-based learning activities and pegboards and bins to sort, and organize, their new tools.

Your donation to our makerspace project will allow my students to participate more fully in project based learning activities by designing and making the solutions they've envisioned.

They will will be so excited to have all the tools they need right at their finger tips. My hope is that my students will begin to see themselves as critical and creative problem-solvers!
