This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
What can I say other than that my students are the most precious gifts I have encountered! I have seen most of them grow from K to 5 snd it has been a joy working with them. The best part about working with my students is seeing their personal growth whether it may be socially, creatively, and of course, musically! They constantly keep me on my toes, providing new and unique ways for me to keep the classroom atmosphere fun and exciting.
On a weekly basis, about 500 different personalities and young scholars come through my room.
These young black and brown babies deserve nothing but the best from me, and I intend on continuing to give them my all. Even during the pandemic, they have remained active and consistent with who they are.
My Project
I envision a classroom this year where my students will be able to move around more freely to be involved in as many activities as possible! Seeing that we are not using classroom carpets this year (due to Covid-19 restrictions), these seating options will allow students to sit comfortably and also become more eager to participate in class.
Our children deserve to come back to a classroom suitable for them!
I want this transition from virtual learning to being back in the classroom full time to be a smooth one.
