This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My middle school students are a phenomenal group of scholars that deserve the whole world, starting with a classroom environment that is comfortable, inviting, and promotes learning. Student investment and involvement in helping create a learning space where they see themselves represented fosters a classroom that feels more like a home and correlates with students wanting to be there.

A classroom environment where students are welcomed and engaged is an environment where they are able to grow, learn, and thrive.

With a Cricut Maker 3 and its accompanying accessories, I would be able to efficiently create differentiated learning materials for lessons and craft unique, engaging classroom decorations that are creative and engaging. Additionally, students' role in creating bulletin boards, word walls, and labels for classroom organization would foster a sense of pride in the space. Lastly, having a Cricut that can create custom t-shirts and vinyl stickers, which can be used as incentives and rewards for following expectations.

The possibilities of what we can do in my classroom with a Cricut are endless. Thank you so much for your consideration and support of my classroom!
