My Project
Creating a love for mathematics can be challenging as students often find it intimidating, boring, or obsolete. I want to create an environment, coupled with flexible seating, where students will be able to engage with math in ways that they may not have already been able to do so.
By acquiring these various mathematic games I will be able to support my students this year and in years to come by giving them opportunities to play age-appropriate games with their peers.
They will be able to see that math is FUN and that there are connections in the real world.
The gift cards to TPT will allow me to find additional resources to support students in my class with math and beyond. Creating inclusive and differentiated lessons to engage all students in the classroom. TPT has great resources like escape rooms, digital and paper-based materials, centers, and beyond. I will be able to ensure that resources support students cross-curricular especially connecting ELA and mathematics, which are heavily connected!
