This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about our Spartan Tennis Team is the heart and dedication each athlete brings to the court every single day. These students are not only hardworking and committed, but they are also eager to grow, learn, and push themselves and each other to reach their full potential. Their willingness to show up early, stay late, and support one another is what makes this team truly special.

The resources requested will make a meaningful impact on our program.

The tennis score tubes will help our players gain a stronger understanding of scoring and match play, which is essential for competitive success. A ball machine will allow athletes to get in valuable, individualized practice—especially helpful for developing consistency and refining technique. The practice balls will ensure that we can run high-energy, high-repetition drills that simulate match conditions. The drill set will play a crucial role in our conditioning efforts, helping players build the endurance and agility needed for long matches. The Wilson tennis bags will allow us to transport equipment efficiently and keep our gear organized throughout the season. Lastly, the overgrips will help maintain our rackets in good playing condition, ensuring that our athletes can perform their best.

With these tools, we’re building not just skills, but confidence—and paving the way for another strong run at the state tournament. Thank you for believing in our student-athletes and helping us chase big dreams, one swing at a time.
