This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is full of aspiring mathematicians! As with any group of young children, we most enjoy playing with our math concepts.

Your contribution will help our class update our learning materials and gain access to fun and engaging math tools.

With new and updated dry erase lap boards, students can further engage in our interactive math story problems and play our phonics and word games across the content areas. With access to their own ten frames sets, students can engage in additional math practice with our multiple subtraction and addition strategies. With the added features of the clear storage bags, all of our materials can be carefully stored and readily available for our daily math games.

Magnetic displays such as the shelves will allow students to see the books being featured during the week in front of our classroom. The magnetic reward jar will make it easier for everyone in our classroom to see our progress as we work toward our goal. A magnetic marker container will help keep our learning spaces tidy for everyone!

These improvements will keep our areas neat and provide all students fun and engaging opportunities to learn.
