As soon as the materials arrived, we began learning how to use each tool with care and purpose.\r\n\r\nWe've been exploring our emotions and practicing healthy ways to express both positive and challenging feelings. Students have loved taking turns with the sensory tools filled with water, and we practiced treating them gently while taking calming breaths. The emotion magnets have sparked many meaningful discussions about feelings and the words we can use to describe them. The picture magnets, in particular, have been a wonderful reference and now brighten our cozy corner as a helpful visual display.\r\n\r\nOur bilingual feelings book has quickly become a favorite resource. Many students reach for it when they're trying to understand or communicate feelings like anger, sadness, or nervousness. The visuals have also been incredibly helpful for me as a teacher when guiding students through tough moments.\r\n\r\nThe new chair has created an extra quiet space in our classroom. The chair pairs well with a small round table in our classroom. This has space has become an additional comforting spot for anyone who needs a moment alone or a calmer place to think.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my students and helping us build a classroom where emotions are understood, respected, and expressed with confidence. Because of your generous support, every one of my students now has their own individual supply box filled with crayons, markers, pencils, and erasers. Students also have their own plastic boxes to hold their fragile oil pastels. This incredible gift that has already made a big impact in our classroom.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting changes has been the ability to incorporate more hands-on art activities that enrich our learning in science and language arts. In the last week, we've been studying plant and animal life cycles. Today we used cardstock, Sharpie markers, and oil pastels to create vibrant frog illustrations while discussing how frogs grow and change. It was amazing to watch my students bring their ideas to life with such enthusiasm and creativity.\r\n\r\nNone of this would be possible without your kindness.
