My Project

The science kits and supplies will allow my high school alternative students to gain hands-on experience. It will make the science classes more STEM-oriented and allow for a diversified curriculum. Many of my students were not able to complete labs at the traditional high schools and love the challenge of completing labs here.

The students love using the previous DonorsChoose funded materials, such as the electricity lab, germ lab, growing crystal lab, and kinetic energy kit in class.

The additional labs will introduce the Biology and Earth Science classes to biomes. The weather and climate lab will help spark interest in that Earth Science chapter. All the material will reinforce the concepts presented in the textbook.
