Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a 4th-grade math and science bilingual teacher. I teach economically disadvantaged students. My students are always ready to learn, they love to collaborate, and are always willing to give their best effort.

My students need science books and exploration kits to make science alive.

My students are English language learners and need hands-on to visualize the concepts. They also love to read books about science. These new science books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. The rewards are to keep them engaged and motivated.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
