Help me give my students paper making supplies! We want to cut back on our paper waste and use it to package seeds we save from our plants so they can be easily replanted.

My Project
Students at our school combat food insecurity by gardening, and that results in lots of seeds to harvest and save for future planting. They also work hard on assignments from their teachers, at times using paper for graphic organizers or quizzes. Students recognized a need to cut back on the amount of paper that goes into the trash at our school. Recognizing that it can be repurposed as handmade paper, we would like the tools to do just that! Further, if we sprinkle the seeds from our garden into this paper, we can easily share our seeds with our families and community members for more people to plant and enjoy home grown food. This creative solution to issues of waste and food accessibility will allow students to make a difference in our community and the environment.
