This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my school, my students are used to have a great experience in the music classroom. They love playing different instruments. My kids are fun, respectful, musically talented, and very smart. They love playing at shows and participate in different musical activities. Unfortunately, this school year due to the pandemic situation, we have not had the financial support adequate for enriching our music program to get enough instruments and materials for our students.
My students will appreciate having new instruments and materials to play on music shows!
They always enjoy when we get a brand new instrument and more opportunities for everyone to play without sharing; therefore, as a teacher, it will be a great satisfaction to provide what they need to be successful in the classroom and use these items to make our classroom a happier place.
My Project
Orff music method was created to teach children about music by engaging their minds and body through singing, dancing, acting, and playing percussion instruments like xylophones, glockenspiels, and metallophones.
Orff instruments are the best for little children to engage them in a music world.
Our new instrument will be part of a great ensemble that I am trying to build to have enough for every student. They will also have an opportunity to not only play them in the classroom, but also in music shows and school presentations for our community.
