My students are 9-11 year old bundles of energy. Our school has a great amount of community involvement, but we lack the resources needed to ensure that all of our students get the best education experience possible. Many of my students do not have access to education resources, materials, and experiences.

Our school mission is to prepare students to become responsible and productive citizens in today's ever-changing society. We believe it is our obligation to help the students accomplish this by providing a variety of educational experiences in a safe and positive environment.
My Project
The Covid-19 pandemic has made many changes to the traditional classroom setting without the funding to support those changes. One of the unexpected changes is the inability to share art supplies. This project will provide a sets of markers with a box for storage and art paper.
Art in the classroom allows even the most reluctant students a chance to express themselves and show what they have learned.
In addition to using art in the content areas, we will have our annual art show at the end of the school year. This is an opportunity for students to learn about and gain inspiration from famous artist. They will be able to use their creativity to express themselves while using their imaginations.
