Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A primary, school-wide focus this school year is writing across all areas. There is not a more perfect place to learn about different kinds of writing than our active school library! A large part of learning will be annotating and note-taking, then writing from our notes. Second to fifth graders will be engaged in lessons that use the colored paper. That is 400 learners! With so many learners, there are many different learning needs. The colored papers will help learners with different abilities, as well as colored paper is fun to have!

The poem, fables, short stories and graphic organizers will be printed on colored paper to help students in several ways, including reading, organizing, engagement, and study skills.
