Making Opportunities for Creativity in Our Classroom

Help me give my students supplies, such as LEGOs, to help spark their creativity with supplies for the beginnings of a Maker Space in our classroom.

My Students

Every day, my students are discovering what their super powers are. Technology is a great way for them to discover hidden talents. I want my students to believe they can do anything they put their mind to. My students love technology. They enjoy learning new information, creating original artwork, doing hands-on projects, solving complicated problems, and designing their own science experiments.

Technology and creativity are the keys that our students need as they begin to pursue jobs in the 21st Century.

Our school is a fifth year school that provides our students with an academic rigorous education and provides them with instruction that is on their level.

My Project

Creativity is something that so many children are beginning to lose. They are beginning to spend more time behind a device and less time building things with their hands. Creativity is so important!

Walt Disney said it best when he said, " We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

These resources would help my students build and explore new things in our classroom MakerSpace. They will be able to use the LEGOs as they explore building and using engineering skills to create new designs. The paper supplies will allow them to create projects using paper folding techniques they learn in art class. The MakerSpace will invite creativity into the classroom and allow students to use their imaginations to create so many amazing things!
