This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have an exciting group of students with mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Most of my students are from a diverse community and many are immigrants and probably 1st generations to complete High School and move on to continuing their higher studies. Many come from single-parent homes and with government assistance.

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to accept any kind of STEM challenge.

I am trying to keep things simple and meaningful which could also be exciting to them. As children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

These materials will be kept at school for students to use this year and future until the supplies lasts. My students will utilize this to understand how the 3D design prototypes are made with cardboard (if not the actual material). These projects are assigned to students to work in groups for academic and social developments. Students learn to measure things accurately too.

Group projects allow students to work along with each other, get to develop their working skills, interactions, communications and learn to take leadership in completing their project on due date based on the requirements.
