I have a room full of students that are eager to learn and achieve their goals. They are creative, intelligent, and curious. They enjoy having conversations, listening to each other, and asking lots of questions. My students to school every day ready to learn from me and from each other. It's amazing to hear all that they know!
My class focuses on building and strengthening independence, emotional and social skills as we work on academics.
All components are so important for students at these young ages. It truly shows that kids are capable of what you allow them to do.
I encourage students to be themselves and be unique and appreciate and value differences that each of them bring into our classroom and school.
My Project
These materials will make a difference as they will support my students in their nonfiction reading. The materials will help me guide students but also allow me to give them materials to read that they otherwise wouldn't get.
Students will be so happy to read as much as they can in our nonfiction unit this year with these materials.
These resources will encourage and help students find nonfiction text exciting. The Times for Kids Magazines are engaging and full of fun facts for kids. The other materials allow me to guide students in small group reading.
Along with nonfiction, the phonics intervention kit will be a fun way to intervene with students who are still learning beginning skills in reading.
