My Project
Drumsticks and reeds are necessities for school bands across the country. These resources are not permanent, as they get damaged and have to be replaced often. My goal with this project is to have a classroom set of high-quality reeds and drumsticks to support my students' music-making.
Oftentimes the costs associated with band leave a barrier between the students and being able to participate. Even so, the students of Wai'anae High are dedicated to their school, music, and community. These resources will help rebuild a band program for a deserving group of students.
