Help me give my students a good foundation to build pitch identification, rhythm reading and playing together in an ensemble. These instruments are beginner friendly and allow students of any level to have fun and be engaged.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The boom whackers are great instruments to introduce students to the world of music. Each student would have access to multiple pitches that can develop listening and reading skills. Because instruments can be overwhelming with multiple pitches, boom whackers are an easy and amazing way to have only 1 or 2 pitches for each student that they are responsible for playing. This would allow students to also focus on their reading skills to identify the notes on the music staff to build their musical literacy.
In addition to the instruments, the course method books added in this project would give me a good starting point to build a curriculum to use for the first year of this project.
I would then be able to reuse this curriculum for many years to come in the future and develop a great foundational learning environment for all students.
