My students currently have very few musical instruments in the classroom, so adding to our collection will increase their interest in making music. With the addition of these instruments, we will also have an instrument per child, making our music and movement section of the day very fun! I cannot wait to see what songs we can play music to and how the students will utilize the instruments during free exploration time.
Also, organization is key to a well-run classroom.
Students at the Pre-kindergarten level need picture support as well as classroom labels around the room. Therefore, much of my project is dedicated to items necessary for placing photo labels or naming centers on white boards.
Additionally, crafting supplies are added into my project to ensure that I am able to replace items that are heavily utilized in my art center. My students are always excited to use pom poms, feathers, and paint sticks, so our classroom is almost out of these materials. My students will be thrilled to see that we have more items to express themselves with!
