My Project
My students love to be creative. They have so many ideas, but have not had the opportunity to put their ideas in action.
I am requesting supplies to design and create their own mugs.
This project would allow my students to learn a little bit of everything. Students will learn how to do some graphic design, using free programs like Inkscape, as well as implementation of their ideas to an actual physical product. They will learn hands-on skills of using the vinyl cutter and sublimation tools. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about marketing and cost-analysis of their products and practices.
This opportunity will allow my students to put their best ideas onto their own mug. Whether they create a mug that sells well, or a mug that only their mother would love, in the end they will have created a product they can call their own, and make a few memories along the way.
