My students work very hard each and every day. They come to class ready to learn. They deserve to have the classroom materials to support them.
With headphones, they will be able to listen to their favorite tranquil music while working on class work.
This is something they've been asking for and they earned this year by doing great work!
We are asking for a rock tumbler so students can find rocks native to Arkansas and we can polish them and they can keep a reminder of how beautiful our state is. And they can forever remember their Arkansas History class with Mrs. Carter.
And with teaching history, a globe is something we need to be able to show students where, in relation, other places are.
I am also asking for a classroom set of crayons for class drawing projects, a lamp with storage for their binders for our calming corner, a pillow/cuddle buddy for our calming corner, anxiety reducing stickers for their desks, a wax melter for aroma therapy, misc. school supplies for our room and a standing desk and chair to be in front of students able to lecture.
I always provide my students with pencils and pens and notebooks. Not having a writing utensil or medium will not stand in their way of being a diligent student.
This will benefit all my classes for this year and beyond.
