Making Movies with Met Media!

My Project

In the fall, I will be teaching a film making class for the first time! Our "Met Media" program has existed as an extra-curricular for a while, but we are finally moving it to an actual classroom. I am excited to get the kids organized and provide a table, a writing center, storage and a variety of art supplies for our stop motion films and for story-boarding the wonders of movies. Our films will center around student experiences, stories of their cultures and stories of supporting mental health.

Our school does not have a lot of things traditional high schools already have --like butcher paper!

We also do not have funds to buy a lot of things to help keep the kids organized I am hoping that we can make movies in Met Media with the help of these supplies.
