My Project

Hello! Thank you for considering to donate to my classroom! I teach both 7th and 8th grade English. I incorporate STEM activities into our ELA classroom because I feel student learning is enhanced by visual aids and participation through hands on activities.

During our 7th grade Brain Science Unit, students will complete a Creative Brain project.

In this project, students will create a brain structure of their choice that includes brain functions, regions of the human brain and how each area functions. They may create a physical model of the brain, sketch or draw the brain (poster), collage of the brain, tri-fold poster, write a skit or song or create a brain hat.

For our 8th grade Space Race Unit, I would love for each student to have the opportunity to build a model of a space craft. I would also like students to experience eating space ice cream bars like astronaut do in space.
