My students are some of the funniest kids I know. They always make me laugh and smile. Whether or not it's at a story they are telling or a joke they are making.
These kids are some of the most resilient kids I have ever met and that's what pushes me through the downs of teaching.
These kids have gone through more at such a young age then I could ever even imagine, but that doesn't stop them from doing the best they can do. They come to class everyday ready to learn. Some days are harder than others, but they always push through and try not to let it stop them.
My Project
Getting a yearbook was always one of my favorite parts of the end of the year in elementary school. Being a bale to look back at the year with my friends was always a highlight. When I first started here I was surprised at the fact that they didn’t do yearbooks.
Being able to give my students the opportunity to create their own yearbooks at the end of the year is a dream of mine.
Give them something to leave the class with that they can look back at years later and be reminded of out class and the community that we have built.
Not all of my students have the ability to print out pictures at home or the funds to go to Walgreens to get them printed, so being able to directly print the photos for them would be a huge burden off of both them and me.
