My students are always amazing! They surprise me each and every day and keep me learning more for them. We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school.
My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day.
I want to grow with them! Our school includes over 60% free or reduced-price lunch recipients, but together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
My Project
In just a few weeks I will start planning for my new students. We have so many memories to create this year and that builds excitement in me as a teacher.
Throughout the new year we will challenge each other, grow with each other and become family.
This year will prove to be a year like no other. I know how important it is to build a classroom community and this project will do just that. This will help our classroom meet the needs of every unique student. Every year we create a classroom story. These items help our story grow and blossom. The photo paper and printer will once again fill our memory wall with beautiful pictures of all we do together. The favorite pictures are "teacher student selfies" from out in the community. While we may not be able to get so close to each other, we can still take a six foot selfie!
The dry erase markers are used every morning to answer a classroom question that helps build our classroom relationships and makes us the family that we are.
Along with that, students will continue to write a tweet at the end of day using sticky reusable post it notes. The magnet dots are used to create custom lunch magnets. The white dots will be used to match our PBIS picture frames to our classroom theme.
Help our classroom kick off the new school year with the best foot forward. It will be a year of new challenges but I am ready to tackle those with the support of so many. Thank you for investing in my classroom and caring so much about all of us.
