it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Math has traditionally been a "memorize this algorithm" subject ,but I am out to make math concepts meaningful for my students. They need to know why we have math rules and how they actually work. By giving them practical experiences with manipulatives, I aim to help my students understand geometrical concepts such as angles, area, and volume. I also want to math math fun!
My middle school students come from low-income neighborhoods and often lack practical learning experiences at home, so I try my best to provide engaging activities that help them learn math concepts and get excited about learning.
