My Project

In our classroom, we use calculators every day to support student learning. However, many of my students come from families that cannot afford to buy their own scientific calculators. I've found that having calculators readily available in class not only saves time but also ensures that all students can engage in the lessons fully. In addition, we regularly do group activities and use small whiteboards to collaborate. Over time, the markers we use for these activities have run out, and we are in need of new ones. These group activities are crucial for keeping students engaged, and having the proper materials will help ensure they continue to be an effective part of our learning process. Lastly, providing headphones would greatly benefit my students during independent work. For many of them, the option to listen to instructions or information instead of reading it would support better focus and understanding. Donations to this project would help provide my students with the tools they need to thrive—them to focus on their learning rather than worrying about what they lack. Your support will make a tangible difference in their education.
