This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The various resources I have requested in this project are items my students are in need of the most as they continue to strengthen their understanding of our base ten number system, fractions, ratios, and number sense. The manipulatives will bring inspiration and success to my deserving students. They have put in the work and have dedicated themselves to their own education. They are accountable individuals who are only lacking the tools to further develop their concept understanding of math.

They will believe that they are meant to learn and grow into more than what society's limitations have set before them.

Your support will be a part of the movement towards having math be attainable by all. It will be part of a larger picture, where everybody (not just mathematicians and other professionals) can participate in mathematical discussions. Help my students become active voices in understanding math.
