My Students

My math class is a learning environment in which students are encouraged to practice concepts so that they are confident in their math capabilities. The students are very academically driven and want to be successful in and out of the classroom.

Sixth grade is a transitional year for students, but they embrace the change and work extremely hard to reach their goals.

They take great pride in their work and willingly seek opportunities to improve their own knowledge of the content matter.

My Project

The Apple iPad and Apple pencil that I am requesting are going to increase my ability to check for student understanding and promote engagement through technology.

I create an interactive notebook with each section of students, but when using a document camera or SmartBoard I cannot navigate the room.

The iPad and Apple pencil will allow me to fill in the notes and examples, as I check for student understanding. I would also like to incorporate the iPad and Apple pencil into my math stations this year. I truly need your support to make this a reality in my classroom! Thank you!
