Please help provide the first graders in my school with manipulatives such as tens frames, analog clocks, place value blocks, and coins. These math manipulatives will allow me to model for my students. They will give my students an opportunity to show their math thinking as well.
Help my students build their number sense through using hands-on manipulatives.
Research shows the importance of providing students with the opportunity to explore math concepts concretely through math manipulatives to build their understanding of how and why the math works before moving on to more abstract algorithms.
We will use these resources in our classroom everyday, multiple times a day. Your donation will be greatly appreciated!
