Math is supposed to be fun. For some students, they struggle with the concept of understanding numbers, problems, and fractions. For the first time in 10 years, I will be teaching math again. I cannot be more excited for this new adventure, however, I need some help. In order for students to have fun and learn at the same time, I need things for a math classroom.
Learning games and station manipulatives will improve engagement in the classroom and raise test scores.
I am seeking your donations to help provide my students to learn math in a fun way. Games, independent station work, and brain teasers will help keep my kids engaged and learning in a new way.
I am also asking for resources to help teach and show students how lines and graphs work. I don't have any paper to graph with and kids will use that almost daily in math class. We also will use our individual white boards but need the markers that go with it. Let's face it, when we use the graph paper and draw, we need erasers to keep our things clean.
The last thing is a few fun treats for my kids. They are 4th graders and they have a lot of energy. They also love to be rewarded with specials things in class, especially Jolly Ranchers. The kids work so hard to earn one and having a small piece of candy helps them stay focused. In order for my students to make math magnificent, I need your help. Thank You.
