I can't say how much you have helped me get back into math after many years. My students have loved having the new dry erase markers and cloths to clean up with. We've been using those almost daily since our supplies have come in.\r\n\r\nThe station games have come into play already as well. We've been using the place value one and the kids have been learning a lot. They are taking care of the supplies and treating them with care. It's been so fun to see their faces light up with new things to help them learn math.\r\n\r\nThe graph paper and chart paper is being used to help with anchor charts and with my students using volume. It helps as they have been drawing shapes and counting unit cubes to help find volume. \r\n\r\nI think the favorite so far has been the Jolly Ranchers. The kids are so motivated when they can earn a piece of candy for getting math problems right or when they are thinking hard. They are focused when they know they can earn a quick reward. \r\n\r\nAgain, everything you have provided for my classroom has been making math magnificent so far this school year. The kids love simple things like having an eraser for their pencil or using the chart paper to make posters for a project. Your donations have not go unnoticed. We use our new items everyday. If it weren't for people like you, I wouldn't be able to provide my students with what they need. You are truly angels who care about others who may not have the same things that you do. My students so appreciate you and we talk about you all the time. \r\n\r\nThe headphones are used on a daily basis. With the reading program the district uses, the kids need headphones to hear the reading, sounds, and noises the letters make. They love picking out their favorite color and are so excited to have new, working, materials. The headphones are comfortable and fit their heads. \r\n\r\nThe students love the fact they can have a mint, Life Saver, or Jolly Rancher when participating in class. It encourages students to participate more in class and they get something even for trying. It has also helped with testing and keeping kids awake and focused in class. \r\n\r\nThe sharpies are used daily as well. Students use them for outlining their work, drawing for projects and being creative in class. Again, it was something that you helped provide to us, in order for the kids to be successful. \r\n\r\nThank you again so much for the donation to my classroom.
