Making Math Magical!

Help me give my students the materials they need to allow them to continue their growth as Kindergarten mathematicians!

My Project

Kindergarten mathematicians have SUCH energy for building conceptual knowledge of numbers, figuring out how they work, and growing as mathematicians each day. They need to manipulate physical materials to help them solidify emergent mathematical ideas. Putting their hands on manipulatives such as counters and ten frames allows them to build "mind connections".

Using materials such as ten-frame kits and graphing paper will allow these emergent mathematicians to manipulate items that help them conceptualize early mathematical concepts.

It's my hope that these materials will continue our love of math and foster increased independence in the classroom.
