Making Math Fun!

My students need Math mastery games and manipulatives, including Spin & Solve Math Games, Test Prep Math Rings, and a Mastering Math Games Library.

My Students

Take out a piece of paper, a pencil, and open your book to pg 103. This is what most students hear everyday in Math class. I would like to change this up and allow my students to explore Math through games and hands-on activities.

I have a class of 22 wonderful 6th graders.

They are very eager to learn and always give their best. Our building is a Kindergarten through Sixth grade school and we are located in a rural area in Illinois. We have about 650 students in our building.

My Project

My students would thrive and really enjoy these Math games. The Math games include basic Math skills along with measurement, geometry, algebra, number sense, and data and probability skills. There is nothing better than watching your students having fun while they are learning. If we receive Math games for our classroom then we will implement Math Center Fridays. I know the students will look forward to it every week.

I believe in motivating our students.

They don't want to sit for hours watching a teacher lecture. They want to be up and apart of the learning/teaching process. These Math games will help them be active and also have a chance to teach their peers. These Math activities we would like would motivate, excite, and teach our students.
