it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am the 6th-8th grade facilitator in a small, rural school in Mecklenburg County. We have a high number of students who are struggling in mathematics. Incorporating math games will help students overcome their struggles and not only be successful in math, but enjoy it as well. To be able to help with this, our classrooms could benefit from these supplies to help create and organize math games.
Math games are awesome to practice social skills, improve collaboration and team work all while hitting the math standards.
The supplies I am asking for will be so helpful in getting our games organized and ready for the first day of school. The laminating sheets will make the game boards last and be more durable. The dice, pouches for storage, and dry erase markers are other essential supplies that will ensure a successful launch of our new games. Having these supplies would help me organize the math games and make it easier for students and other teachers to access. Our students are a wonderful group and they learn so much better from engaging games and working together. This would greatly boost their math skills.
