Making Math Click: Hands-On Tools for Bright Minds

Help me give my students help me give my students hands-on math manipulatives and resources that will deepen their understanding, boost their confidence, and make learning math fun and meaningful.

My Project

I love how curious, determined, and eager my students are to grow as mathematicians. These whiteboards and markers will allow them to quickly show their thinking and collaborate with peers. Math manipulatives like place value blocks and magnetic money will help make abstract concepts more concrete and engaging. Visual charts will support students who benefit from step-by-step models and vocabulary reinforcement. Every resource will help create a hands-on, interactive learning environment where all students feel confident exploring and mastering math concepts at their own pace. These tools will make math both meaningful and fun. We will also practice reusing our materials so as not to waste our supplies! We will use the sharpener and color pencils to practice shared supplies with all 2nd-grade students. Sometimes, it can be hard to practice math skills, so the students will have support with emotional plushies to support regulation during math time. Again, a reusable tool for ALL students to use in the classroom.
