Making Master Mathematicians

Help me give my students the resources they need to master their math facts, as well as tools to deepen their learning of magnetism.

My Project

I am lucky to be teaching at my alma mater. We are a school located in a wonderfully diverse community, and our hallways are filled with students who bring all sorts of strengths with them.

One of the greatest strengths my students can bring with them to third grade is math fact fluency.

These games, tools, and resources are going to help learners of all types in mastering their addition and subtraction math facts. There are flash cards with visuals of each number with tens frames, number bonds, and part-part-whole diagrams. There are games using fact families to help solidify the connections between the numbers. The teacherspayteachers gift card will help me respond to student need with resources to support them in the moment.

Additionally, my students have become very interested in magnets recently! I am asking for a book and additional magnets to help deepen their learning, and so more students can participate.
