This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach over 400 students grades K-8 and we use markers all the time for all kinds of projects.

Markers are a medium that are versatile.

Markers are used to outline, add vibrancy, dimension, and detailed art projects. They help art teachers teach precision and control during specific line element assignments. Also, markers help strengthen fine motor skills that help students produce more legible handwriting and build writing endurance. Markers can be used to create different tones and effects to artwork, delivering powerful pieces with intense emotion. Markers are a quick drying medium that allow students to complete assignments and take them home same day with no worries of damage to the artwork.
