My Project
The weeks are flying by and the second semester is here, and we will be knee-deep in our design units. When I asked students what they wanted to create, they came up with many ideas. When I explained how we would do it, they narrowed the list down and the items we are requesting will help us with our making. The earring blanks and key chains were really exciting for the students and the different shapes really appealed to them. The assortment pack of sublimation materials would give us options, the ornaments got them excited about upcoming holidays and personalized gifts, and well almost all of them carried Chapstick so the lip balm holders were really a hit.
Our students are creative and thoughtful innovators who are always wanting to learn something new.
This project will allow us to provide the materials that will let them create and make something they will be able to show others with pride. Providing needed supplies removes the exclusion of students who can't afford to bring in their own. Projects will follow for some t-shirts and other items that the vinyl will be applied. We will be using our sublimation printer and all of the tools and materials that we have to engage in our creating and learning.
