Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Growing anxiety rates among children have made it increasingly important for students to learn social-emotional intelligence skills that enable them to self-regulate their emotions and feelings. Diane Alber's "Little Spot" Collection is an exceptional resource for teaching children about emotions and feelings.

This project aims to enrich our classroom library by adding over 40 high-quality social-emotional learning (SEL) books.

The books will cover a range of essential skills, including managing anger, finding happiness, learning to be organized, and making friends. The six box sets included in the project will cover the crucial topics of Emotions, Taking Action, Life Skills, Feelings, Learning, and Emotional Regulation and will support students' SEL development.

We believe that supporting this project will make a genuine difference in the lives of our students, and I invite you to contribute to their SEL education. With your support, we can provide our students with the tools they need to achieve social-emotional intelligence and thrive in their academic and personal lives.
